I used to like her, she wasn't my favorite, she wasn't my hated one, but then the fans came. The crazy fans, not the real and nice and smart and awesome fans, no, the crazy ones. The ones with problems. Horribe and huge problems (and no, i am not talking about you). They came and conquered and pulverized Hinata into one of the most annoying characters ever.

Forget about the other naruto females, you know, the other ones that aren't as HOT and SEXY and SHY but VERY FIERY and OMG CUTE!...yeah...

they don't matter.

Like I stated before, it isn't Hinata's fault, after all, she is just a character in a cartoon. If we are to blame her existence, blame it in Kishimoto. But...I don't think that is my case. I think Hinata is in Naruto for a reason and she is an important key that story Naruto has many depths and characterization. Without Hinata, Naruto-world wouldn't be Naruto-world.

So, she is there. There is no reason to love her, hate her, like her or whatever. We can just accept her existence and read the manga. But of course, we are humans and we tend to indentify, love and cheerish fictional characters.

I had no problem with that.

I fell in love with Sakura, Narusaku and bla bla bla...so the world was right. And belive me, I could even accept a certain amount of Sakura-bashing. I certanly avoided it and I tried not to get angry or go all crazy. There was no need for that.

But after a while I noticed a pattern...Sakura, as well as the rest of the naruto females, where getting bashed in a lot of Hinata-centric fanfics...especially when they in real life...or in the popuar fandoms, were the love interest of the guy that Hinata needed to live in those fanfics. It was all good for a while, I avoided those fanfics. I wasn't dumb...and if I wanted to read Hinata-centrics, I would always try to look for the awesome ones.

But the thing...is that after a while...it was sort of impossible. Hinatars, NaruHinas, MaleHina, went overboard. There is a difference between showing love to Hinata trough good characterization, plot, realistic or Naruto-realistic moments and great dialogue...and showing their love through bashing all the females characters, all of their romantic ships, smashing anyone who defies they logic and making feel bad and intimitated other tards.

No, I am not saying that sometimes you need a villian, an anti-hero...but there is a difference between Hinata and Ino competing over Naruto in a realistic way (they may not get that along in the manga, so I think they would be really cordial to each other) than making Ino cheat in Naruto cause she is a super mean and she is bored of Naruto and she wishes he could be dead and she only dated him cause she wanted to make the pig die of envy (and OMG! sakura actually died and nobody went to her funeral, you little fool) but now that Sasuke is back...so Hinata is the only one that is nice and cool and pretty and Isn't she the most beautiful shy girl that have ever existed in the world? Not even the sun can compete with her! Forget all the ugly girls, Naruto (especially the horrible dead Sakura that in the manga cared about you but in this fanfic is now burning in hell coz she hate you!) Hinata is the bomb and you are about to go all BOOM!

People...heck, I could EVEN accept that Ino cheated on Naruto...but for a good reason. She isn't a slut...and Hinata either.

Yeah, I don't think she would let herself be abused by some akatsuki member...nor after that Itachi finished his bussines, Sasuke comes and takes her violently while Naruto watches in the back, heart-broken, ready to kill sasuke after Sasuke gets Hinata to visit heaven with him (because If Naruto interfered...the fans would n't get the steamy lemon) and bla bla bla.

that isn't that bad...but there must be a limit. Not all guys are lusting after Hinata...yeah, there are many hina-ships...but thats why there is a of fanfictions featuring each pair...

But if you really want to have all the guys lusting after Hinata in just one fanfic...please, be nice to all characters (the other girls don't have to be mean so that Hinata gets all the boys...come on! let the girl stand up for herself, give her value by not making the others lower!) and be a little sane.

Believe me, in my Sakura-fan years...i have read so many insanity...and I had liked it... Fans don't go "Akatsuki loves Sakura, thats why Hinata must die, with Ino, and Temari, coz they suck!"...no...they are actually nicer to them...giving them good man.

(well, the fanfics I had read..i really don't know of any really mean Sakura-centric...if there are...I am really SORRY!)

Now, my next complain. Her Characterization. Okay, she is beautiful. Sakura is Beautiful. Ino is beautiful. EVERY FEMALE CHARACTER IS BEAUTIFUL. I believe this. Kishimoto took his time to create the (be it five minutes, three seconds...but he took his TIME...he wouldn't if he didn't want them to exist) characters. So, they are beautiful by default. So yes, they are very pretty, but they also have flaws.

So yes, Hinata is pretty, but lets not get overboard. Don't go paragraphs of her long ebony unless there is a point. And don't go all she is HOT and a BABE and SHY and CUTE and SUPER DUPER STRONG unless there is a point and a certain amount of realism and flaws. Flaws are part of characters. They make them 3D. So mention flaws and beauty.

I remeber once reading a Sakura-centric fanfic from this SUPREME-SAKURA-FAN. I expected her to go all exagerated with Sakura...but she was pretty honest. Sakura was small, didn't have WOW breast, didn't even have the hourglass shape...and she was cute. I Loved that.

And before any Hinata fan read this and say to me that Sakuratards do go overboard...it is true.

but only because we do it...do you have to follow the example?

(Like I said before, not all Hinatards are horrible, not all of them are mean, not all of them are annoying, I am really sure that there are a lot of Hinata-fans that are great)
